Description
Rare 1971 2-LP Japan-only boxed set in the "Panel Deluxe" series, all 2-LP retrospectives issued in oversized boxes with holes on the thick cardboard back for hanging on the wall, and including booklets. This Elvis issue is RCA RP-9201-2. Includes an array of various hits from the 50s and 60s. Both discs are nearly perfectly mint and play flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover has a little wear. A couple of lightly torn corners on the box, and some light staining on the LP sleeves inside. The paper label pasted to the back is a little worn at the edges but still fully intact. It seems the booklet inside was originally attached to the styrofoam lining but has come loose. This lining has partially detached but is still there and still protects the records. Despite these issues the whole thing still is quite beautiful and amazing. Truly a unique rarity, and in great shape overall. Sounds just beautiful. Hard to find in this condition.
