The time has come for me to thin down my vast collection of Elvis Presley albums and singles as I need to minimize my holdings. I have decided to begin with the AFL1 prefix LP’s, first released in 1977, shortly after Elvis’ untimely demise. Realizing that the Black Label, “Dog Near Top” LSP reissues (1976-77) were pressed in mass abundancy and are mere “player” copies, these AFL1’s are an entirely different story because they were pressed in very short runs and many of them are downright RARE!

RECORD: VG++ (EXC) with beautiful glossy surfaces! However, there are some extremely light scuffs seen on both sides under a bright light; some a bit more noticeable than others, but nothing that will have any effect on the audible performance. The labels are original and highly attractive, boasting the appearance of most RCA labels of 1985-86.
COVER: VG++ (EXC) showing light ring wear on both sides as well as some edge wear along with wear at the corner tips. There are no seam splits, tape, writing or saw cuts anywhere on this cover. The original 1980’s style plain white inner sleeve is included.

First and foremost, I do NOT practice the use of "file photos" because I do not believe in it. Using file photos can be misleading to unsuspecting buyers to believe that they will receive an item superior to that which they will receive upon purchase.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to ensure optimum protection.
