Description

In 1960 when Elvis was discharged from the army he and RCA were working feverously to rebuild his singing career. RCA thought it would be a good idea to release an extended play album of hits that had made Elvis famous in order to remind the public of what made Elvis great. The title would be “Elvis by request - Love Me.” With the success of “Elvis Is Back,” and “G.I. Blues,” RCA decided to shelve the record. a year later RCA wanted to release “Flaming Star” and “Summer Kisses, Winter Tears,“ so “Elvis By Request – Featuring Flaming Star” was released instead of this earlier album. Like the “Elvis By Request featuring Flaming Star” this release was pressed on 33 compact. Very Rare – Great cover and the Blue vinyl is absolutely beautiful. Don’t miss your chance to own this rarity which is sure to go up in value. I don't know when it was pressed, but it has been brought to my attention that it is a commemerative addition and only 250 were pressed on blue vinyl. I checked this out and it is infact a newer pressing. I believe it was pressed sometime in the last 15 years. It has been brought to my attention that the picture looks funny, and it does, but the record is stone mint, for some reason the scan looks a little funny! SORRY, DUE TO THE SEEMING INABILITY TO INSURE ITEMS AND THE RUDE, NASTY AND UNSRUPULOUS ACTIONS FROM SOME BUYERS DOWN UNDER I NO LONGER SELL TO THE LAND OF KANGEROOS (AUSTRILIA – SORRY PAL)
