Description
Here we have a rare 7'' E.P. from Elvis Presley entitled 'Elvis Sings Christmas Songs'.It was originally released in 1958 on the highly collectable RCA record label but this copy is from the later 1960s re-pressing and comes with a round centre and the Christmas Card sleeve.The catalogue no.is RCX 121.The A side has 2 tracks,'Santa Bring My Baby Back' and 'Blue Christmas'.The 2 tracks on the B side are 'Santa Claus Is Back In Town' and 'I'll Be Home For Christmas'.
The record is in excellent condition and appears to have been played very little.Both sides play near perfectly with no jumps or skips and the overall sound is sharp and clear.The vinyl is beautifully shiny and there are no scratches,scuffs or other surface marks.
The non-laminated gatefold sleeve is in VG condition as it is a little grubby along the edges.However,there are no significant marks or blemishes,no rips or tears and no handwriting on the sleeve - the Christmas Card was apparently never sent!
IN MINT CONDITION THIS ITEM IS VALUED BY RECORD COLLECTOR AT £60 - IN VIEW OF ITS EX/VG CONDITION WE HAVE A LOWER STARTING POINT AND NO RESERVE-THIS IS PERHAPS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ELVIS FANS OR RCA LABEL COLLECTORS TO FILL AN IMPORTANT HOLE IN THEIR COLLECTION.
