ELVIS PRESLEY----LPM-1254-ELVIS' FIRST RECORD ALBUM-SELF TITLED.
NOT A REISSUE- 1ST PRESSING WITH THE P. D.CREDIT ON THE SONG JUST BECAUSE.
This iconic records influence can still be felt today. Elvis was one of the top earners in show business last year.
The first release of this record credited the song writing to the song "Just Because" to P.D. - Public Domain. You can only imagine how surprised the authors were to find they weren't able to get on the gravy train.
The song writing credits were quickly changed on subsequent pressings. The record guides don't mention this fact. But serious record collectors look for this issue.
On the upper left corner on back cover is a signature
The record is in good condition, has some light scratches and a removed sticker on side 1.The cover is in fair condition, has shelf wear and tape on seams.
