ELVIS PRESLEY----Original 1st pressing. Made in 1956. LPM-1254, Self Titled. Cover is in excellent condition. There is a small crease and a removed sticker on back upper left. Some invisible tape on 2 seams. the record is in excellent condition with only a few feather scratches, no chips, stickers, writing or warping. Original wax paper inner sleeve.

Elvis Presley, the album that started it all. This iconic records influence can still be felt today. Elvis was one of the top earners in show business last year.
The first release of this record credited the song writing to the song "Just Because" to P.D. - Public Domain. You can only imagine how surprised the authors were to find they weren't able to get on the gravy train.
The song writing credits were quickly changed on subsequent pressings. The record guides don't mention this fact. But serious record collectors look for this issue.
