ELVIS PRESLEY - ROCK 'N' ROLL 1956 HMV UK 1st PRESS? CLP1093 Vinyl Record.
I am 98% certain this is a First press (-1N / -1N matrix numbers) Side 1 2XAV 255-1N
Side 2 2XAV 256-1N

Many of the formative bands of the 60's and 70's (Beatles/ Stones etc.) will reference this album as an influence.. so it has great significance in the history of modern Popular/Rock music.
And this copy is in very good condition when you consider its age the delicate nature of the cover (If you view other copies available on eBay, you will know what I mean!) This is a really good copy.
There are some vert minor signs of wear on the disc, likely from sleeve removal, as highlighted in the photos, but it plays well with out skips or jumps and minimal noise, just the pops and cracks you get with vinyl. Id say VG/VG+
The jacket has some agewear to the opening edge bottom and spinewear, but overall isnt too bad. The laminated is still good aside from odd small lift at corners. Id say G+, but for its age, looks good.
The inner is solid, with no rips or seam splits.
Overall, a copy which is in very good condition. Please see all images as they form part of the description. Smoke and pet free home.

I try to be as honest as I can in my listings, I research well and playtest everything. But it can sometimes be very tricky to nail exactly which press an album is. I am 98% certain this is a UK first press, I have also taken it into a Respected Record store in Manchester, and they agreed. I know Record identifying/grading can be very different in opinion. So I will always be honest, and usually undergrade to try and avoid disappointment and the hassle and risk of returns (damage etc.)
