ELVIS PRESLEY:

"ROCK 'N ROLL" (No. 1)

 1956 HMV CLP 1093

An interesting one. Factory Sample sticker side 1. 

RT tax code centre side 2.

Side 1 label has full stop in CLP.1093, side 2 has not, so I suppose a crossover in that respect. 

-1N matrix in deadwax, stampers 1 2 P / 1 L

Unusual HMV generic sleeve, never seen another one. Side-opening, laminated, flip-back top & bottom, "Made and Printed in Great Britain".


Condition:

 The disc retains little sheen; there are many superficial marks, some deeper. Skipped a few times, a lot of hiss/crackle, a well played copy, sound may improve with a thorough clean. Labels clean, not significantly marked but a few spindle trails. Sleeve has no splits, wear at edges. Please view photos.

I would grade vinyl Fair condition.
