Description
A couple of years ago, one of Australia's most respected and most eloquent music writers passed away - he was active all throughout the 80's and 90's, and to a lesser extent, right up until recently. His credibility was perhaps best illustrated by the high reverence in which he was held by his journalistic peers, and especially by the absolute cream of Australia's musicians - members of Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Radio Birdman, Sports, Angels, and many many others counted him as an ally (itself rare in the too often isolationist world he inhabited)...and he had a flurry of loyal readers too...all of whom, it's my guess, would have felt a loop of sadness at the thought his indepth and articulate, impassioned appraisals would no longer be forthcoming.
Just recently I was offered to buy his record collection, which I did, feeling pretty honoured to do so...and here then, is one of the items from that collection:

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: Yes, it is...on black and silver 'red spot'/'living stereo' labels...
Matrix numbers are:
SIDE ONE: RPRS-5278-1W
SIDE TWO: RPRS-5279-2W
Also has its original pink and white 'Stereophonic Record', plastic-lined, inner sleeve!CONDITION:
COVER: ( VG[+] )...has scuffing along the opening edge, and in corners, plus edge-crinkles (mostly on the spine)...plus creases at bottom left on back...also has foxing stains on back (mostly near spine)...and the word 'LONDON' handwritten on the back in the top right corner...see pix...
RECORD: ( EX )...has virtually ALL of its original shine still...stunning!...so close to mint...just has a couple of very minor 'hair-line' scuffs only...no scratches or other marks!...
LABELS: (Side One: M- / Side Two: MINT )...beautiful ! ...
