On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Elvis Presley called 'Rock'n'Roll' and is an ORIGINAL 1956 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press HMV label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS ELVIS PRESLEYS FIRST EVER UK LP - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 100% GENIUNE 'DAY OF RELEASE' 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING FROM 1956 AND IS IN GREAT CONDITION!!!!  AND THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT ON THIS LP!!!!  MOST SALES OF THIS LP ACTUALLY TOOK PLACE LATER ON IN 1957 - AND THESE ARE FAR MORE COMMON.  HOWEVER THERE IS 1 INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE THAT ONLY EVER APPLIED TO 100% GENIUNE 1956 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY!!!!  AND THAT IS QUITE SIMPLY THE TAX CODE ON THE LABEL!!!!  IF YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THE CENTRE HOLE ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL - YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE IT HAS A RAISED 'RT' TAX CODE NEXT TO THE CENTRE HOLE!!!!  AND THIS ONLY EVER HAPPENED ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING FROM 1956!!!!  LATER PRESSINGS FROM 1957 HAD THE FAR MORE COMMON 'XT' TAX CODE INSTEAD.  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1N/1N MATRIX ENDINGS AND AMAZINGLY LOW 1/L & 1/GR MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS (AGAIN SHOWING THAT THIS LP WAS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!

BUT NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION!!!!  IT HAS AN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITIONED ULTRA SHINY RECORD, AND A GREAT CONDITIONED COVER!!!!  AND THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE LIKE THIS!!!!   AS MANY COLLECTORS WILL ALREADY KNOW - IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO FIND THIS LP AT ALL (IN ANY CONDITION) - AND EVEN WHEN THE OCCASSIONAL COPY DOES SURFACE IT NEARLY ALWAYS HAS A TERRIBLY WORN SCRATCHED OVERPLAYED RECORD, AND AN AWFUL LOOKING BATTERED COVER (USUALLY WITH MULTIPLE TEARS & BITS MISSING).  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - WITH A VERY PRESENTABLE & GREAT LOOKING COVER AND AN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1956 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS HMV LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'THICKER PAPER' INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'HALF MOON' FLIPBACK FULLY LAMINATED COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL HMV UK 1st pressing from 1956 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is CLP 1093 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press HMV Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO wear and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 50s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and looks SUPERB with an AMAZING glossy shine!!!!  It has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, only 1 MEGA light scuffline, only 1 virtually INIVISIBLE hairline type mark right at the VERY beginning of one side (though this is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to see and is virtually NON sounding - see below), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND IT IS REALLY IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE FOR A RECORD OF 50 YEARS OLD TO HAVE REMAINED IN THIS BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  The record plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle!!!!  Even the gaps are amazingly - SILENT!!!!  In fact the only INCREDIBLY minor sound defect on the whole record is 2 light clicks on 1 run on groove - and one MEGA brief surface sound soon afterwards!!!!  There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++ if not better and plays BRILLIANTLY!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The 1st Press  'Half Moon' Flipback FULLY Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition and is VERY presentable indeed (absolutely MILES better than most)!!!!  It has only very VERY minor edgewear (NOT through the colour and most of the edges have NO wear AT ALL), only VERY slight spinal wear (slightly more towards the middle - barely ANY elsewhere), NO tears AT ALL to the cover front, VERY shiny laminate, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is flat looking), NO laminate lifting, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with virtualy NO feathering!!!!  Even the laminated back is in GREAT condition overall with barely ANY yellowing, NO writing, VERY shiny laminate, a few creases to the flipbacks and NO grubbyness!!!!  The only defects to mention on the cover back - is 1 INCREDIBLY well repaired tear about half way down the opening edge on the cover back (INCREDIBLY well repaired from the inside and the cover is 100% PERFECTLY strong at this point!), and I can also see a TINY and INCREDIBLY minor repair to the top right flipback on the reverse (again INCREDIBLY well done and VERY minor indeed!).  However these 2 defects really are INCREDIBLY minor - especially when you consider the usual terrible state these covers turn up in!!!!  And it is VERY important to remember that this cover has a BRILLIANT and UNTORN cover front - and ALL of the cover is PERFECTLY strong and VERY presentable indeed!!!!  And as I said previously - this cover is MILES better than most and VERY hard to find like this!!!!  The cover must VERY strictly grade Good++++ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better and is VERY presentable indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS TRULY RARE TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - AND HAS AN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITIONED RECORD, AND A VERY PRESENTABLE AND GREAT LOOKING COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
