Description

ELVIS PRESLEY ROUSTABOUT (LPM-2999) SUPER MEGA-RARE ALL-SILVER PRINT MONO HOLLYWOOD PRESSING IN NEAR MINT CONDITION!

RECORD: NM- with stunning, glossy surfaces! There are only a few non-feelable marks noticed under a bright light as well as some as-made tiny bubbles in the vinyl. This RARE Hollywood pressing appears today very much as it appeared when first pressed in 1964! The all-Silver Print MONO and STEREO pressings for “Roustabout” were pressed exclusively at RCA Victor’s Hollywood pressing plant and are true First Pressings. Indianapolis and Rockaway pressed only the White Top label copies of “Roustabout” and those are also true First Pressings because they pressed no Silver Top copies! Going forward, any White Top copies from the Hollywood pressing plant are considered reissues. The labels on this record are simply gorgeous with not a spindle mark to be found! The matrix numbers on this Original Soundtrack Recording end with 3S/12S.

COVER: NM- with the appearance as though the original shrink wrap had been torn away last month! Under a bright light, I see very minor rub at the tops and bottoms of both sides from contact with other LP’s. The original owner wrote her name, Helen Petersen, quite elegantly within the banner on the front, just beneath “ELVIS” at the upper right-hand corner. Helen’s name was handwritten lightly with a blue ball-point pen. The upper right corner tip appears to have incurred a minor bump at some point in time. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40A) is included.

GOOD LUCK!

First and foremost, I do NOT practice the use of "file photos" because I do not believe in it. Using file photos can be misleading to unsuspecting buyers to believe that they will receive an item superior to that which they will receive upon purchase. All of the records in my listings are U.S. pressings unless otherwise stated. Payment is expected within 5 (Five) days from close of auction via PAY PAL ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE. I normally ship within 3 (Three) business days from close of auction, but please allow a little extra time in the event of a holiday.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.

Returns are accepted if you are not completely satisfied with your item. I stand behind everything sold here on eBay! I strongly believe that my grading of records is spot-on, but we’re all human and something may occasionally be missed upon inspection. I will do my best to ensure customer satisfaction.

2024 marks 47 years of experience for me in this wonderful hobby. I specialize in Elvis Presley because he is "The King".
