ELVIS PRESLEY – ROUSTABOUT (LSP-2999) MEGA RARE “SILVER TOP” STEREO HOLLYWOOD PRESSING from 1964!

RECORD: VG+ on the upper end of the grade with pleasing, glossy surfaces. There is a smattering of very light scuffs and one scratch that cannot be felt with the fingertip. This Hollywood pressing was fully tested and played beautifully with no skips or repeats! The “Silver Top” STEREO labels are clean and original, showing only light wear and light spindle marks (please see all photos!). Released in October of 1964, this is the First Pressing of this Original Soundtrack Recording. The “Silver Top” pressings on this title were exclusive to the Hollywood pressing plant! Second pressings were released a short time later on labels with the “RCA Victor” logo in white. However, ALL Indianapolis and Rockaway First Pressings are of the “White Top” label variety! The matrix numbers end with 1S/1S on this rarity.

COVER: NM- showing only the lightest of ring wear. The spine and all edges are fully legible, smooth and solid and the corners are sharp! A beautiful, highly presentable cover with no writing, staple holes or unwanted stickers. The original “ELVIS’ Great LP Catalog” (40A) inner sleeve is included.

All records are shipped in the correct cardboard folding mailers with the record separated from the cover, then inserted together within a clear polyvinyl sleeve, then sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard filler pads within the mailer to best protection.
