Description
This was a "mail order only" record sent out to buyers of "RCA Victor Save-On-Records Coupon Book" which includes excerpts from LPs of popular artists of the day including Elvis Presley.The track included here is "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry Over You", mis-labeled as "Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry". Released in this limited format in June of 1956, this record and picture sleeve is a must for the serious Elvis Presley record collector. This copy is almost flawless. In fact, the only defect I can find on the record is one very light scratch on side two and a tiny bit of paper loss on the label of side one, right on top of the "MADE IN THE U.S.A." printing along the bottom edge. The record vinyl looks very close to unplayed or near mint. The picture sleeve has very small minor creases in the corners and the bottom has a 1"1/4" (one and one quarter inch) split in the bottom center. Very Very nice condition overall! This is a mega -rare sleeve and record and although it only contains one Elvis Presley track it is seldom seen on Ebay or anywhere else in this condition. "Rare" is a word used way too often out here but this one is the real deal. (The RCA Victor SPA-7-27 label is black with dog on top and silver horizontal line). This charge covers the cost of shipping through the USPS, Insurance, and for the shipping and packing materials. I'm not a seller trying to squeeze out more profit from a S/H Charge. Please note that S/H charge will be more if you order multiple items (more than 4 records). I am meticulous about packing records for shipment and use record mailers with flats. I seperate the record from the cover to avoid seam splits and each record jacket comes covered in a new poly sleeve.
