ELVIS PRESLEY S/T 1956 DOUBLE EP EPB-1254 W/ AD BACK GF
From 1956 comes this original double EP pressing of Elvis Presley (RCA Victor EPB-1254), featuring eight of the twelve songs off Elvis Presley's historic self-titled debut LP.
The gatefold sleeve is very good plus due to some basic ring wear and scuffing in addition to half-inch seam splits/frays in the corners of the mouths of both pockets, a small sticker tear at the bottom of the track listing inside the first record's pocket, a former owner's name written at the top of its back cover, and another couple small sticker tears underneath the track listing on the back cover, which features ads for other then-current RCA Victor releases (Victory At Sea, Mario Lanza's The Student Prince, etc). The first EP has matrix numbers of G2 WH1850-5S on Side One and G2 WH1853-5S on Side Four and is in very good condition with a slight warp that does not affect play. Its labels are very good plus with a bit of wear - most notably at the bottom of Side One, where it looks like a sticker once lay. The second EP has matrix numbers os G2 WH1851-5S on Side Two and G2 WH1852-6S on Side Three and is in fair condition due to a hairline crack that fortunately plays through. Its labels are also very good plus - this time with the sticker wear at the bottom of Side Three.
To protect your investment, this double EP - as with all vinyl purchased at The Great Escape Online - will be placed in a new plastic outer sleeve prior to packing and shipping.
