Description
Up for auction is a RARE ELVIS PRESLEY on SUN LABEL #209. This record plays through on both sides. "That's All Right" has the normal pops that sometimes comes with a record of over 50 years old. The label on this side has some discoloration on the the word "SUN" as if someone wrote something on it, and either it faded or it has worn off. I will leave that up to the winner to try to take off. The label other than that does have some ring wear. Push marks are evident, with two of them easily seen. I took a picture of the one. Trail off wax numbers, the best that I can read, are U128-45- -72.
The other side " Blue Moon Of Kentucky " has two spots of label maybe worn off. One on the first 'E" in Presley and the other at thae beginning of the "S" on Sun. Both spots are very small. This side has something which looks like was spilled on the wax, but it plays though with less pops that the other side but on the "spill marks" it does hiss. This side plays though also. The three push maks are easily seen and can easily be felt on this side. The trail off numbers on this side are, again the best that I can read, are U129-45- -72..
So there you have it a RARE piece of history from ELVIS PRESLEY. If you have any questions, please ask.. INSURANCE REQURIED, cost of which will vary by selling price. Do not pay until I send an invoice with proper insurance amount.
