We recently got in a great collection of LPs and 45s. Check back daily for more listings.
Today we have a nice copy of Elvis Presley's second LP, simply titled "Elvis". This is a mono copy with the ad back cover.
The label is black with silver writing. "Elvis" is written below the spindle hole. Before each song title it says "Band", as in Band 1 Rip It Up, Band 2 Love Me, Band 3 When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again, etc. "New Orthophonic High Fidelity" is above spindle hole. "Long 33 1/3 Play" at bottom of label.
Dead wax numbers: G2 WP7207-8S and G2 WP7208-8S
Songs linclude: Rip It Up, Love Me, When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again, Long Tall Sally, First In Line, Paralyzed, So Glad You're Mine, Old Shep, Ready Teddy, Anyplace Is Paradise, How's The World Treating You, How Do You Think I Feel.
Just a little bit of ringwear on the lower right portion of thecover. A tiny start of bottom seam splitting. Vinyl is free of major marks. A bit of musty smell.
Albums featured in the ads on the back cover include Arturo Toscanini, Mario Lanza, Horowitz, Rubenstein's Chopin Concerto No. 1.
A nice piece of Rock 'N' Roll history.
