Description
This is an ultra rare Elvis promo which I believe was released in 1956. I tried to do some research on it and was told that there were two versions of this record produced, one with a blue label and the other with a white label. This one is the blue label version, which is the lower priced of the two, but nonetheless according to a Goldmine price guide that I read, is valued at $1,200 for a mint copy. This is not a mint copy, but even if it was, I don’t believe that anyone in their right mind would pay that much for a record anyway. I also learned that there were re-issues of this floating around in the early 80’s, but the person who I bought this from said that she’d owned it for over 30 years, which would rule out this being a copy.
This is a one sided record with four tracks. These include:

There are no tracks on the flip side. The record has some surface scratches, some of which can be heard when played, but keep in mind, these are taped interviews, so sound quality wasn’t great anyway. This comes with the original paper RCA Victor sleeve which is in good shape.
