Description

"That's All Right"/"Blue Moon Of Kentucky" (RCA) 447-0601 + Rare PS MINT!

"That's All Right" was the first Elvis record ever! Sam Phillips captured Elvis Presley, Scotty Moore & Bill Black in an unclassifiable performance of Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup's blues "That's All Right Mama" & Bill Monroe's bluegrass "Blue Moon of Kentucky" in July, 1954 & the rest is history. Rock'n'roll, as we know it, was born! This pressing is the "Gold Standard Series" issue from 1965- the first time that this title appeared with a picture sleeve. The full color front cover is a "Kissin' Cousins" era publicity still, the back has a complete list of "Elvis Presley Singles" through 1965. U.S. RCA Victor black "dog on top" labels on a black vinyl record in beautiful condition. Sleeve is MINT except for one very minor notch on the upper right. Record is in MINT unplayed condition with no scratches. Overall condition M-/M.

1st class shipping- $3.00. International air mail- $10.00. Item will be well-packed & shipped in a sturdy 45 mailer. Insurance is optional but recommended & will be charged at actual USPS rates. We will not be responsible for damage incurred to non-insured items.  Combined orders- add $2.00 for each additional record won. The winning bidder should wait for the invoice before paying with PayPal.
