Up for auction is a scarce original 78 rpm --
ELVIS PRESLEY - SUN 209 "That's All Right" / "Blue Moon Of Kentucky"
Original 1954 US Pressing --- The first commercial release from Elvis, on the legendary Sun label out of Memphis, Tn.
Condition:
78 is in V/V+ range.
78 was professionally cleaned, and shows some light surface scratches/scuffs. Nothing major to note.
There is a small dent or divot that measures about an inch along an edge on the "That's All Right" side.
This does not affect playback.
I playgraded the 78 and "That's All Right" plays fine overall with some light to moderate surface noise that is not overwhelming.
"Blue Moon Of Kentucky" plays clean and nice.
I would call this more a V+, but am grading conservatively using the VJM Record Grading system for 78s.
Labels are clean with some light spindle marks.
