Rare PROMO 45 + sleeve
When Elvis was recording some of the worst songs of his career in the early '60s, RCA dug into the past to find some gems to fill out the soundtracks. This single was an exceptional choice. It was January 1966 and for some reason somebody went digging and found the song "Tell Me Why" on a tape of never-released songs from his 1957 'All Shook Up' sessions. The tune is a pretty credible rockin' tune and it was pared with another oldie, the song "Blue River" which was an outtake that was three years old at the time.
Tracks here are “Tell Me Why” and “Blue River.”
