Description
Elvis Presley - A Legendary Performer, Volume 3, 1978. Oldest recording is “Hound Dog,” July 2, 1956 and the most recent is “Let It be Me,” live version, Recorded in Las Vegas, February 1970. Album includes an Illustrated memory log with 4-color picture suitable for framing. RCA CPL1-3082.
Record is in Mint condition: Factory Sealed in the original Shrink Wrap/Cellophane Cover, and has been with the same owner since purchased in the 1970’s. Original owner is selling from personal collection.
- Album has been stored in an upright position.
Shrink Wrap/Cellophane Cover is in Good to Very Good Condition: Original purchase price stickers from Big Ben’s are on the front cover. One corner is very slightly damaged and although the Shrink Wrap is still Factory Sealed, there appears to be some markings or discoloration on the album front, hard cover. This could just be from aging, but where the markings are, the wraps is still factory sealed. Rear cover and near one edge is a very tiny Shrink Wrap seal line with some tear in the wrap, just along edge. This most likely is from storage. There are no punch holes.

This record/album is Factory Sealed in the original cellophane cover, and has been with the original owner since purchase, this seller. The album should be an excellent addition to any collector or Elvis music lover’s collection.

Grading System for Records:
Mint: These are perfect in every way and still sealed in their original album jackets/covers. The record cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in their original condition and have not be removed from the jacket.
Near Mint: Records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any “spindle marks”. Major factory defects also must be absent.
Very Good: Records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. They lack gloss. Groove wear is evident on sight. Scratches are deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible.
Good: Good does not mean bad. The record still plays through without skipping. But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn.
Fair: Records are cracked, warped, or skip.
Grading System for Shrink Wrap/Covers:
Mint: Shrink Wrap/Covers are absolutely perfect in every way.
Near Mint: Shrink Wrap/Covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind.
Very Good +: Shrink Wrap/Covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split.
Very Good: Shrink Wrap/Covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear. Creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious.
Good: A Shrink Wrap/Cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing.
Fair: Shrink Wrap/Covers are heavily damaged.
