Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect interesting records of all sizes and speeds. Among these are vintage "78s" of many genres. While they are definitely NOT of the computer world, they are the medium used for recorded music longer than any other ever was or will be, and they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: "Don't Be Cruel/Hound Dog" - by Elvis Presley on the RCA Victor Record label (20-6604), in beautiful original monophonic sound.
CONDITION: LABELS - EX(Very light spindle marks; blue letter "B" stamped on dogs); RECORD - Excellent(RCA Victor 78 rpm record is beautiful with very few very light marks; it plays clearly with almost none of the typical 78 light background noise; in fact, this is the best-sounding 78 I've ever heard! The "King's" voice is strong, as usual, an the backup is superb - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight; aurally graded on my 78 turntable). SPECIAL FEATURES: The record is in superb condition; it is a great and historical record by THE legendary artist, beautifully recorded. If you love the world of vintage rock'n'roll records from almost SIX decades ago, then you will appreciate this historic record. BONUS: This offering includes an original RCA 78 10" dust sleeve. OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any 78 and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the record has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
