Hello and Welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on: 
TITLE/ARTIST: "A Golden Celebration" by Elvis Presley on the RCA Victor Record label (CPM6-5172) in vintage original MONO sound, issued in 1984. 
CONDITION OF VINYL: Near Mint(Vinyl - all six records - are shiny and glow with vitality; NOTE: I bought this set new in 84 and played it through once to record onto my cassettes - graded visually using special daylight balanced spotlight). 
CONDITION OF JACKET: Near Mint(Jacket box is unmarked, with extremely light travel wear (we have moved 4 times since I bought it); there is a very small ding to front cover and a couple of other light scuffs; if you study the photos and think it should be rated "Excellent" I would not disagree; NOTE: The number of this particular set is on the back bottom left: L-686 (one of the lowest numbers I've seen for the first issue) - please see photos of actual album offered). 
SPECIAL FEATURES: This rare original MONO "Elvis: A Golden Celebration" from the 50th Anniversary Celebration back in 1984, represents the most complete and accurate revelation of the earliest studio and live music of Elvis Presley during the vinyl era. Included is everything shown in the photos, all in superb condition. As an added bonus, I am including the gold-vinyl 45 issued at the same time as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration, with "Baby Let's Play House" b/w "Hound Dog". NOTE: Please see actual sleeves and contents photos for confirmation of condition. But perhaps the best feature is the gorgeous unmarked condition of the vinyl. RATING SYSTEM: New (sealed in original wrap); Near Mint (very light wear and uniform glossy vinyl appearance; one or two light rubs on jacket surface or corner); VG++ (light wear that is visible but not audible; light wear to jacket edges or corners); VG+ (many marks on record surface that are lightly audible during quiet passages; small splits, marks, or tears on jacket); VG (surface covered with light scuffs or marks that are audible during all but loudest passages; jacket extensively marked, split, or torn: note: we only sell this grade on very rare records).
