 ITEM DESCRIPTION & CONDITION

**ELVIS PRESLEY**RIP IT UP/BABY LET'S PLAY HOUSE hard to find 7" single on hmv from 1957,cat#45 POP 305.This is the first issue on the purple label with gold writing.This is in a plain white sleeve because the original hmv sleeve was trashed..

The record has some very light scratches and some dirt marks (needs cleaning) visually vg+/excellent- condition.This plays really well with no pops or clicks and just some occasional background crackle/hiss which may even vanish when the record has been cleanedBoth sides of the label are clean with no writing on it.

I have been selling records for nearly 20 years mail order and from my shop and I hope my gradings are accurate(gradings based on record collector system).If you purchase an item and feel the grading is not accurate feel free to return the item for a full refund including postage.

Record Grading System

  • Mint-The record looks unplayed and in brand new condition
  • Nr Mint-The record has probably only been played a couple of times (if at all) and may have a couple of very light marks which do not affect the playing quality at all
  • Excellent-The record may have slight wear but should still have good sound quality.It may have some light scratches or light marks but no heavy scratches
  • VG-The record has obviously been played several times and has either scratches or marks but should still play fine (possibly with some crackle)
  • Good-The record has been well played and has several scratches-should still play but probably has lots of noise or even jumps or sticks
  • Poor-Tatty and really only suitable as a gap filler
