Artist: EMANUEL RAHIM & THE KAHLIQS
Title: “Total Submission”
Label: COBBLESTONE. Stereophonic pressing on medium weight vinyl. Label is brown with black text. Catalog number is CST 9014.
Date: 1972.
From the liner notes: “Brothers and sisters, get together with your better halves, uncase the hooch, sprinkle about the mezz (that’s hip for mistletoe), and put your dancing shoes on because Emanuel K. Rahim & the Kahliqs (some soulful swingers) have put together almost 40 minutes of the spiciest, movingest latin-afro-soul-jazz-funk you’ve ever heard! In short this is a BAD record, Jim!...”
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found. Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with care. Labels are clean. Fidelity is superb. A gorgeous disc you will never need to upgrade.
JACKET: Jacket is nice VG+ with some minor evidence of handling/storage but no serious issues. Laminated front panel is clean with no visible ring wear. There is a drill hole at upper right corner. Seams and spine are overall nice, except for a small split, approximately one inch, at top center. Reverse displays minor surface wear but is free of writing, stickers, or staining. Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the lovely disc.
