EMBRYO ‘EMBRYO’S RACHE’ KRAUTROCK 1971 GATEFOLD SLEEVE 1ST PRESS A1+B1 VINYL LP

Sleeve Condition: minor creasing to edges but no damage to laminate and overall a solid Ex to Ex+ sleeve.

Record Condition: No marks, scratches, scuffs or visible damage whatever. Side 1 plays fine though Side 2 crackles a little on the first track and occasionally in quiet passages. Overall however, the LP plays really well with no deterioration in sound quality. A really, nice, solid Ex copy of what is now an impossibly rare LP.

Rache was the second album by Germany's Embryo and represents a classic album for fusion lovers! Rache shows a more progressive zone for Embryo than Opal (previous album) with tons of ethnic percussion, Hammond organ, clavinet, and some great Mellotron work tossed in.

This album also featured a few member changes but still remains a Eastern infused, fusion band. Rache is filled with some superb flute thanks to new member Hansi Fischer who was also known for his work with XHOL CARAVAN. Fans of Embryo will love this studio mix vs the Garden Of Delight's release of "BREMEN 1971". Same songs but treated very differently. Fundamentally this is still very much Christian Burchard's musical vision which carries some huge parallels for some to the genius of Miles Davis. A huge album!
