EMERALD - Armed For Battle. Metal Gem Records (USA) 111-777. CONDITION: NM-/stVG++. Sleeve still in shrink, slight bump at one corner. Disk shows some mild scuffing and one or two light needle marks, plays almost perfectly. Close to zero surface noise. ABOUT THE RECORD: 1986, California. RARE micropress Christian heavy metal, apparently 500 copies made. Powerful, straightforward 80's CA sound, reminds me a bit of Motley Crue with some shred-style guitar solos. Major cult-favorite -- only copy I could find on the web was listed at 300 Euros, and it SOLD at that price. My reserve here is half that amount. On Feb-03-05 at 17:42:44 PST, seller added the following information: I've had a couple of questions about surface noise: on a scale of one to ten, surface noise is 0.5 or less. There were two brief moments on side one where I heard a very faint, quiet rustle. Otherwise, disc sounded ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. (I think the earlier description may have made the record sound worse than it is.)
