THE EMERALDS "Catch Me I'm Falling"/"Beware" RARE NORTHERN SOUL 45 on VICK 302
Vinyl Condition: Vinyl has surface marks and some wear, but plays better than it looks at VG+. The center hole is damaged but the 45 still plays on center just fine.
Notes: This 45 has remained largely undocumented an unknown to most of the modern collector world until now. Nothing shows up on google. Even some of the biggest northern soul collectors, DJs, and dealers had never heard of it, but their reaction to it upon introduction has been one of universal excitement. This is a hot record! The sound of this record is superb Chicago uptempo soul on both sides, both tracks scorchers with excellent energy throughout. The record was produced by Pervis Spann and E. Rodney Jones in 1966 or 1967 and recorded at Chess studios. The group was mixed containing one female vocalist and three male. Pure quality! And the ONLY copy to ever come up for sale!

VG: Will have wear or some dirtiness. Might have some light marks causing a few light pops, but nothing too significant. Light to medium surface noise.
VG-: Will likely have some light to medium scratches and significant wear causing light to medium pops and crackle.
G: May have heavy scratches, significant wear, or bad stains. Will play with heavy pops and crackle.
POOR: Fundamentally flawed by skipping or big scratches or cracks.
