Every track on this album has been carefully thought, arranged, and performed to perfection.
By 1972, Eddie Offord's recording and producing techniques had reached a new peak and he provided a lush, clean finish to the album which confirms 'Trilogy' as classic period ELP

The music covers an amazing dynamic range from the almost silent heartbeat beginning and the silent fade-in of 'Abaddon's Bolero' to the loudest crescendos and it plays to one of the highest standard I've heard - even though there are some occasional tick on the quietest moments.
I have never heard a copy of this first issue which delivers 'MINT' audio (I simply don't think they exist) so in my experience this is just about as good as it gets

As crisp, clean, sharp and fresh as the day it was made with just a tiny touch of storage rub on the bottom edge
