Description

You are looking at the most awesome EMF boxset, this was released via Kickstarter to 336 backers, about 10 more extra stock were found a few months back (most likely held back for any returns/issue with the originals sent out) and I would assume some were given/made for the band, so there can't really be more than 350-360 of these in total made.  The Box set not only had remastered versions of the albums on colour vinyl, but also an exclusive B-Sides and rarities LP that will not get released anywhere else.  I originally bought this as a Christmas present for 2020, but the boxset was delayed until 2021 so the recepient never got it, since then I've fallen out with the person who it was destined for so much that I'd love to keep it, I sadly need the money for Christmas.
The boxset is still exactly as I received it, still in all its packaging, it is still sealed in its shrink wrap, un-opened, never played.

Inside the Box Set you will find, the 3 EMF albums@

Here is the blurb from the kickstarter campaign which gives you more details of what was in/on it, you can also find some info on it on Discogs.(do a websearch).

This is a career-spanning LP box set to celebrate EMFs 30th anniversary in 2020 it features:

3 x Coloured heavyweight LPs for the three original studio albums, SCHUBERT DIP, STIGMA and CHA CHA CHA. Remastered this year (2020) from the original tapes with exclusive new sleeve artwork for each album.

1 x B-sides and rarities LP - Sounding crisp and digitally remastered exclusively for the box set.

1 x Demos cassette - Original demos that would eventually make up the classic debut album SCHUBERT DIP.

1 x Digital Download Card - Not previously heard 2020 studio interview with members of the band, reminiscing over their career from the beginning. Exclusively inside the box set. Digital download will also include ALL songs from the LPs.

The track listing for the B-sides and Rarities LP is sure to get your heart racing. It includes NINE never before heard studio tracks and three previously released classics:

Angel - Considered the definitive b-side by the fans, this song first made an appearance on the “Perfect Day” single in 1995.

Kill For You - Chosen by the band, this track originally appeared on the “Perfect Day” single in 1995.

Elephant - Written exclusively for the 2012 Gloucester Guildhall show, this song is filled with buzzy samples and a thumping bass line. This is the first studio recording where Stevey Marsh appears on bass.

Elevator - A straightforward rock-n-roll track that showcases James’s vocals. Moments of calm followed by a rousing chorus. This is from a rehearsal in Leicester in 2014 where several new songs were tried out.

Hum Drum - A completely different musical direction for EMF. This slower track is filled with steady drums, distortion, and evokes visions of a showdown in a Wild West movie. This track is also from the Leicester session in 2014.

Starman - Crunchy guitars and a thrashing rhythm section lead this funky space jam, while singer James Atkin gets to show off his impressive vocal range. This track was taken was from the infamous unreleased 4th album demos.

Space - Mellow, melodic power ballad with a beautiful and bold piano-led chorus. A demo from 1995.

Hypnotronic - Upbeat and cheerful with the vintage EMF sound. Also from the unreleased 4th album demos, and recorded in the band’s Cinderford studio.

Trash - A “vivid vision” with the classic, chaotic EMF sound fans know and love. Taken from the unreleased 4th album with backing vocals by Amanda Ghost.

Easy - Chosen by the band, this track originally appeared on the “Bleeding You Dry” single in 1995.

This Kid - A “failure to savior” story, filled with heavy bass lines and Ian Dench’s signature guitar riffs. Taken from the unreleased 4th album.

Make It Happen - Originally a track for a side project in 2006, this track was reworked into a riotous electronic anthem.

The tracklisting for the demo cassette: Children / Long Summer Days / When You're Mine / Travelling Not Running / I Believe / Unbelievable / Girl of an Age / Admit It / Lies / Longtime / EMF / You're Not What's Going On
