Description
All going well, I'll be listing a lot more collectible LPs in the next days and weeks.
So please stay tuned and keep watching my auctions!
EMI ASD 422 - Borodin - Symphony 2, Polovtsian Dances - Kubelik, VPO
Condition vinyl:
NM-
This LP has been examined carefully under bright halogen light and has partially been playgraded: the vinyl is in very nice condition with no signs of use worth mentioning. There are no spindle marks. Playtested passages play very fine with a nice silent background. A quite beautiful white/gold copy!
Condition cover:
VG
The sleeve is in average condition with a brownish stain to the lower right corner on the back, minimal seam/corner wear and very light age discoloration. The backside is a bit stained. Lettering on the spine is perfectly centered and legible. Original innersleeve included, condition: VG
Pressing:
UK pressing - white/gold label (EW1) - 4-1-G/3-1-O what else:
A quite rare one in the three-digit ASD series, recorded 27th to 28th January 1960 in the Große Saal of the Musikverein, Vienna. First label for this issue. I also believe that the fourth (side one) and third (side two) lacquers are the earliest published for this LP. First stamper for side one as well!
Good luck bidding and please have a look at my other auctions as well...
All records will be cleaned on a VPI HW-17 record cleaning machine before dispatch Grading: NM (near mint) is my highest grade for a non-sealed record. Mint is reserved for sealed copies.
