EMI ASD 545 - Falla - Nights in the Gardens of Spain, etc. - de Burgos, Soriano
Condition vinyl:
VG+ (side 1), NM-/VG+ (side 2)
This LP has been examined carefully under bright halogen light and has partially been playgraded: the vinyl shows a couple of harmless superficial scuffs and a few traces from contact with the inner sleeve, mostly on side one. There are no deep marks and the vinyl still retains most of its original luster. The record plays well with some light background noise in some of the softer passages on the first side. There are a few ticks, but not many. I've played the record for about twenty minutes and encountered only three or four soft ticks. There's no groove wear and the sound is of the highest quality!

The flipback sleeve has some damage to the upper left corner. There is a missing piece of about 1mm x 30mm (see photo). There's also a bit of age yellowing and the sleeve feels a tiny bit tatty. There are no stickers or writing. Original innersleeve included, condition: G+

A highly collectable one in the ASD series, with wonderful playing by Gonzalo Soriano and idiomatic accompaniments by Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos. This LP was recorded in January 1963 in the Salle Wagram, Paris. First label for this issue and an early pressing as well.
