Description
This is an excellent recording of the Allegri: Miserere (solo treble is Alison Stamp) and Mundy: Vox Patris Caelestis, as well as the Missa Papae Marcelli by Palestrina
Sung by the Tallis Scholars directed by Peter Phillips.
Both record and cover made in England.
The record itself has no visible scratches that I can see in daylight. It plays excellently.
Both sides have excellent sound with minimal surface noise. There is a recurring tic on side 2 (the Palestrina) but this could just be due to the fact that I have not had the record professionally cleaned.
The gatefold cover is bright crisp and as new but has a small neat gold shop label on the back corner and a removed price label.
A wonderful solid addition to any fine collection.
