Description

EMI COLUMBIA SAX 2358: Mahler Song Recital, Christa Ludwig accompanied by Gerald Moore.  First label ('crosshatch' ES1).  Side one looks Near Mint and plays Near Mint except for some light surface noise in the opening two minutes.  Side 2 looks and plays NM.  Cover is excellent, except for a seam split in the center of the bottom seam.  Original inner sleeve and libretto.

This record is from the collection of music critic Jack Diether, writer for High Fidelity, Chord and Discord, Musical America, American Record Guide, and many other publications.  All of his records were treated with care, and are generally first labels/first pressings which were sent to him for review.  All proceeds from this auction will shared with his widow.  Over the next several weeks I will be auctioning selected records from his collection; please check my other auctions.

All Records play-graded on a Townshend Rock Mk III turntable with OL-modified Rega arm and Benz M2 cartridge. I will offer a 7-day money-back guarantee (excluding return shipping) if you are not completely satisfied with condition of this item. 

Payment by money order, certified check, Paypal, or personal check (personal checks will be held 10 days to clear).  Foreign bidders must pay by Paypal.  High bidder will pay $6 for USPS Media Mail domestic shipping including insurance (or, at your option, $10 for Priority Mail shipping including insurance). International shipping at will be via US Postal Service International Priority Mail.  Rates (including insurance) will be approximately $25 to Western Europe and $26 to Asia; please email me for exact cost to a specific destination.  Record will be shipped in a Bags Unlimited LP mailer, double boxed inside a second box.  Record will be removed from original cover and packed separately in a junk album cover to avoid the possibility of damaging the original cover. I will  happily combine shipping if you puchase multiple items (I will charge $1.00 for each additional LP for domestic shipping, $2 for each additional LP for international shipping.)
