Description
EMI HMV UK Mono LP ALP 1479, GINETTE NEVEU, violin, Sibelius Violin Concerto in D minor, Op.47, with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Walter Susskind, and Suk, Four Pieces, Op.17, with piano accompaniment by Jean Neveu.
Fully-laminated flipback sleeve has obvious creases and ringwear, plus a 4-inch opening edge tear on the back, as pictured.
Vinyl: Side 1 has some light lines and small marks, plus a few fingermarks. There are a couple of more obvious lines (pictured) which cause clicks of varying strength, and there is background noise throughout, but no sticks or jumps. This side grades Good to Good plus.
Side 2 has similar light lines and small marks, causing similar clicks, but probably plays better than side 1. Again, no sticks or jumps. This side grades Good plus to VG.
Clearly, not a perfect example of this LP, but rare enough to warrant a sale, and with strong enough audio for a pleasant listening experience. Please see my other listings for another NEVEU LP, ALP 1520.
