I have acquired a large classical collection of wonderful recordings from a very keen and dedicated collector.

They are all mostly from the late 50s to mid 60s - Something of a Golden Age in Classical recording

All records are inspected very carefully and Gradings are based on Record Collector magazine.

I try to only offer recordings in a minimum of excellent Condition unless it is something particularly rare

when I will do my best to describe any visual or audible flaws

Le Cid was first performed in 1885 - A Ballet concerning the exploits of Rodrigo de Bivar  a Spanish knight of the 12th Century . 

A Driving vibrant and supremely confident  and  well regarded recording  that rightly features on the  Harry Pearson  Audiophile TAS list (Special Merit Classical recording).
