Conditions : cover shows some minimal wear along the edges of the corners otherwise perfect, NEAR MINT  / disc has some scuffs and surface marks in addition to slight sleeve marks due to the prolonged contact between vinyl and clear plastic inner sleeve. Therefore the listening is affected by some moderate surface noise and clicking even though overall it is more than satisfactory. Strong VG+

STRICTLY GRADED

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc. ... are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Notes : excerpts from the above composers conducted by Emil Newman.  I never thought its listening would have been a fabulous sound experience for me. Pervaded by prejudice that an album alternating instrumental themes to spoken narrations could not move me, I was instead put in KO unquestionably. The captivating, hard and above all encouraging voice of John Wayne, alternated by wonderful melodies from romantic, epic and gloomy atmospheres gave to me the fine illusion to stay in the icy zones of Labrador under a huge and reassuring sky.  Don't miss it !
