Description
On Auction is a three LP Box set on London Records LLA-20 tilted:
BACH: Three Sonatas & Three Partitas for unaccompanied Violin. Featuring the amazing EMIL TELMANYI using the 'Vega' Bach Bow'
This is a rare find in the Box Set format with the booklet style holders for the records...similar to the 78 style box sets. The whole package overall is a strong VG++.
Condition of Box/Cover: VG+
Bottom front lid has clear tape securing an old tear on cover (Pictured). Lid corners have slight separation that can be easily repaired and do not weaken the lid. Has some number written on front upper left cover that states "0-174". Back is clean and clear of any issues. Inside lid and back inside tray has printed inlay info on the piece. The inside lid has a stamp from an old record store called the record hunter from New York city. This stamp does not cover or take away from any of the printed information.
Record Sleeves: VG+
Each record is inside a clear white onion style paper sleeve that has printed in blue ink "Made in England". Then each record is housed in seperate tan holders similar to book style 78 holders...VG++ .
Vinyl Records: VG+
Record 1 : matrix = ARL 2074- 1A / ARL 1912-3A . VG+, shows signs of play with few scuffs and rubs...plays thru with no skips..strong gloss...almost no spindle wear...no writing
Record 2 : matrix = ARL 1913-1A / ARL 2073-1A . VG++, shows much less marks then first record..few paper scuffs is all. Plays thru great with no skips or jumps...strong gloss...no spindle wear or writing.
Record 3 : matrix = ARL 2071- 1D / ARL 2072 -1D . Also VG++, very little paper scuffs...very strong gloss...plays thru great with very little background sound. Strong gloss and clean labels...very little spindle wear and no writing.
Basically the records have been played but not abused...the first record shows most of the play...but sounds great.
Buyer to pay for actual shipping costs...insurance is highly recomended for such a rare peace. Please ask questions before bidding and Thanks for looking.
