What you are bidding on here is a piece of Hip Hop history. This is the 1st pressing of Eminem's "Infinite" LP 12" vinyl. 100% authentic.

I'm sorry to inform a lot of you collectors that you have been bidding on reissue copies of this vinyl for the past couple of years. I see auctions all the time for "sealed" copies of it. 100% real. Yea, yea I 've heard it all before. Ask the seller to prove why it is real.

What the unknowing buyer does not realize is that the real difference between the 1st pressing & all the other reissues/bootlegs is that the original has a certain horizontally arched text on the bottom of label. The reissues do not have this text. Look at my picture closely, you will notice that you do not see this on the reissued records on eBay claiming to be the original 1st pressing.

Misinformed and/or deceptive sellers claim that the original is set apart from fakes by the spider-web design in the background. NOT TRUE! Both 1st pressing & later reissue have the spider-web design. It's possible that a 3rd generation bootleg(s) had the spider-web omitted. But what they fail to inform the unknowning buyer is about the missing text only available on the 1st pressing.

I acquired this record in 1997. It was sent to me by Mark Kempf of Web Entertainment/Federation Records, also Eminem's manager at the time before Paul "Bunyan" Rosenberg. I used to get many records mailed to me from various labels for review/dj mix show at radio station. This happens to be one of the most obscure ones ever.

This is the real deal! I have not seen this original 1st pressing on eBay in a few years. The "Infinite" LPs without "horizontally arched text" on eBay are bootleg/reissues that were made around 2000-2002, and possibly still being manufactured by some bootlegger. Do some research. Don't pay top dollar for reissues.

The record is in Near Mint condition. I only played this vinyl on 2 occasions. It has been stored inside a record frame inside my closet for 7-8 years. Non-smoking home.

I had the pleasure of meeting Eminem in April of 1999 when on The Slim Shady Tour with The Beatnuts in Miami. He was doing a signing at a Phat Farm store in Miami Beach, FL. There was an estimated 20 fans there. Eminem was already on MTV but not the celebrity he was once the record went 3x platinum. His video for "Hi My Name Is" was getting MTV play, but no one could have predicted how huge he was going to become. I got Eminem to autograph my cassette tape of Slim Shady EP which I had obtained online in 1998. He was actually quite shocked that I had the EP and told me "hold on to this, it will be a collectors item some day". I'm not selling the EP but I'm providing a picture below so you can see how Eminem autographed it. Once again, the autographed Slim Shady EP cover is not included in this auction. Just here for visual proof.

Look at the auctions of other sellers with this item, they claim it's the 1st pressing. That only 400 were pressed. That Eminem sold it out the trunk of his car. These sellers have never met Eminem nor have they ever been to Detroit. Yet they sell one every week, sealed. You as a buyer should use some common sense. Do not be mislead by this non-sense. Sellers of reissues ruin it for real collectors & sellers. A reissue is worth $10 not $150. Look around eBay, find a record like mine with the "430 W. 8 Mile Rd" on the bottom. I guarantee it, you will not, and if for some reason you do, then know that it's the authetic 1st pressing. Bid with confidence.
