Description
Ultra rare unplayed remaster of Andre Previn cond. The London Sym. in a performance of Walton's Belshazzar's Feast. This set was originally issued, back in the 70's on a two sided EMI pressing that contained 30 minutes of music, on each side. On order to obtain the sonic merits of this classic recording, Wilson Audio contracted Bruce Leek to remaster this performance on 4 sides. Wilson audio, of speaker fame only, as far as I know issued this title only, what was to be the Wilson Audiophile Definitive Performance Series. The catalog # is WEMI 0001. Original recording was engineered by Christopher Bishop. I purchased this rare set back in the early to mid 90's and I never played, this item. There are additional programme notes and technical notes by Wilson audio in their one effort for the Analogue Golden Treasure Series, that was, alas shortly lived.
