What is the “finger cover” you might ask? Well, notice Emmylou’s freakishly long fingers and the way she’s holding them.
Apparently the powers that be thought either her protruding middle finger looked phallic or she was quietly giving “the finger” to someone!
Similar things happened to Alice Cooper and the Five Keys with their own fingers ;-}
These covers were pulled and replaced with the offending finger airbrushed out. Seriously!
Anyway, a beautiful copy of a rarity.
