Description

Beautiful copy of the rare 1979 repressing of Emmy Lou Harris' 1969 debut album, Gliding Bird, on Emus LP ES-12052. Before she met Gram Parsons and embarked on her hugely successful country career she was a little more "folk rock", you might say, with a bit of country feel, but not as fully so as later. Still her voice and songs are just beautiful, and this is a true treasure for any fan. I almost think it is her best album...  Anyhow this is a beautiful copy. The disc is nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. There is maybe one light superficial scuff, but it doesn't affect the play in the least. Absolutely wonderful sound. The cover has only light shelfwear, with a faint ring and minor edgewear. Really a top, lovely copy, hard to beat.
