Description
Original pressing of this crude hard rock outfit's first LP from 1971. This bunch obviously loved Grand Funk, perhaps even more than Three Souls In My Mind did. This is the highly scarce debut album by Mexican psych rock band ENIGMA. Marked as a Promo on the label. 100% Original First Pressing from Mexico with the gatefold sleeve. The gatefold sleeve is in fair condition and the record is in good condition.

This is the highly scarce debut album by Mexican psych rock band ENIGMA. All songs are sung in English.
After recording three albums based on "covers", they determined to compose their own music and find a new approach that was more accessible to the public and under the artistic direction of Jose G. Cruz headed towards a hard rock in which they developed their style until his record company's to launch new, but already with the name "Enigma".
The original members and founders of the group were the brothers Gonzalez (Carlos "scorpion" on guitar, Paul "cancer" on bass and Sergio "aquarius" in the voice), and for recording and with its new name and decided to incorporate the concept Hector on drums Zenil ( "Virgo").
In 1971, at the height of the movement called "Chicano Rock," unveiled their new album, having gained great acceptance with the composition "UNDER THE SIGN OF AQUARIUS", which is a sample of their valuable contribution to Mexican Rock the 70's. Among they're original compositions also include "The Call of the Woman," "Save my soul" & "69".
