MOMENTO INTRA Lp by ENRICO INTRA (with group). Original Italian pressing on RI-FI label (RDZ-ST 14293), from 1978. Desirable session by important Italian jazz pianist, Enrico Intra, with crack studio session men featuring some of the hottest Italian Library players on the scene. The overall mood of our soundclip has a sleazy disco ambience (a sign of the times in '78) with unusual balearic jazz funk arrangements topped with cinematic strings / cosmic synthesizers and an uncredited female (the girl on the back sleeve beside Intra) providing the sexy Nora Orlandi-esque scat vocals. STARBUS / INSIEME and SCHERZO are all killer :) Great for DJs with booming production sound. Tullio De Piscopo is the funky drummer whose chosen sound on this set sometimes reminds us of Patrick Adams P&P stuff with hissing hi-hats / pumping beats / hip hop drum patterns and middle-eastern cum exotic percussion breaks. These futuristic themes are followed by a syncopated drum break cum techno electronics sample we edited from the synth disco theme BADADUBA and the spacey lounge beauty of NICOLE finishes our soundclip. Some Library collectors will recognise the amazing INSIEME track as it was later re-titled as "Risoluzione" in 1981 for the Lester Freeman Italian Library on Settebello SEL 700003. Momento Intra is a tricky item to find (for us anyway) especially with vinyl in top condition. Vinyl is closer to M- condition overall regardless of a few tiny pressing marks scattered around the middle section of side 2 (basically, some tiny, machine generated anomalies from the original pressing process). Otherwise, a couple of faint hairlines from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises. A couple of soft pops / soft ticks (as you can hear on our soundclip). Booming production sound. Item taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of the soundclip. The soft card sleeve is in VG++ condition overall regardless of the creasing / wear to front bottom corner area. Some light ring wear from storage. A few small wear marks to edges (visible on the back sleeve photo). Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Lp!!!
