J.S. Bach:  Complete Suites for Cello Solo No.1-6     "Suiten für Violoncello Solo Nr.1-6"

rare German first press vinyl 4LP set released in the 1960s on white EURODISC stereo label with catalognumber 76069XK on front of the box, and 76071XK (record 1), 76073XK (record 2), 76075XK (record 3), 76077XK (record 4) noted on the white labels. The beautiful linen box with glossy photo on the front, booklet, original innersleeves and vinyl all AS NEW in perfect NEARMINT/MINT condition with clean labels and no spindlemarks - seems the vinyl has never been played. From the extensive archive of a former Electrola senior executive... still has little archive sticker on one side of the label which can easily be removed, but I leave it for authenticity. Overall this copy is in absolutely perfect condition - impossible to find a better copy. I should really grade this set full MINT, but I will stay conservative...  Again, these records are the very first pressings, with each disc having a weight of approx. 150grams, which is different to the often offered golden labels released in a later period... Don't miss this perfect copy of the legendary cello performance by Enrico Mainardi - an absolute audiophile reference recording! Compare also to Mainardi's mono recordings on DGG / Archiv label.
