Made in Colombia under the license of the Deutsche Grammophon!! Ultra RARE!! REFERENCE PERFORMANCE!
Has the same stampers like the first german original issue, I checked this!!
The sound of the Cello is incredible fine and colourful, checked with my Stereo Allaerts MC 1 MK 2, should be played with a mono pickup. Could not find a difference to the german original. I speculate, that the record was made in Germany, but I have no proof for that!
Play-checked again on 08.07.11 with my repaired Lyra Dorian mono pickup and this is the way it goes much better. The record needs a mono pickup!
Condition:
Record: VG ++ - NM- , at the start of both sides for about two minutes a couple of minimal cracling and little ticks here and there, nothing too serious, the playing is still very enjoyable in this part, a tick here and there after that has to be accepted, otherwise, the vinyl looks very shiny and clean, little sign of usage on the center hole
Cover: VG + - EX, no gatefold like the german issue, has a split on the down side from the beginnig to a little bit more than half of it, minimal writing on the backside, the left corner is minimal damaged, the front foto is on the left corner a little bit tatty,
So, if you look for a super rare and top sounding issue ot this gem, do not hesitate. May be, it´s rarer, than the official german issue. This record is not perfect, but still nice. This is the reason for the lower starting price.
