Ensemble Neue Horizonte Bern “Intime Musik” 2LP issued by Jecklin (Disco 544/45) in Switzerland, 1978. Gatefold sleeve. ****** Rec:m- / Cov:ex ****** Very obscure and unknown album from Switzerland featuring the top of the cream of experimental and electronic music from composers like Peter Streiff, Daniel Scheidegger, Jurg Frey, Urs Peter Schneider, Jim Grimm, Roland Moser and Klaus Huber performed by the Ensemble Neue Horizonte Bern. Side A presents Daniel Scheidegger “Etsuko” (1975) for Es-clarinet, Peter Streiff “Nachtgedanken” (1975) for cello and electronics, recorded at the Experimental Studio der Heinrich Strobel Stiftung Freiburg and Peter Streiff “Sechs Lieder” (1976) for soprano, violin, cello, clarinet, guitar, harp and piano. Side B presents Urs Peter Schneider “Zeitraum” (1977) for violin, flute, cello, and bass clarinet as well as Jurg Frey “Quartett” (1976) for violin, clarinet, piano and organ. Side C presents Jim Grimm “Opinion Of” (1975) for soprano, flute, and piano as well as one of the highlights of this 2LP set, or Roland Moser “Stilleben mit Glass” (1970) for tape released at the Studio for Elektronische Musik der Hochshule Koln and Roland Moser conceptual track “Null, Musikalische Konzept diner Zeitbetrachtung” for "reflexionen" (as far as we can tell from the notes, this seems to be some sort of interactive piece involving listener participation/discussion and the diagrams on the cover). Side D presents Urs Peter Schneide “Sag, alleriebstes Kind” (1974) for soprano and piano as well as Klaus Huber “Ein Hauch von Unziet” (1976) for flute, clarinet, soprano, organ, and piano. ****** Liner notes in German. ****** Some minimal sleeve wear (see photo). ****** Please wait to receive my invoice before sending the payment after the auction ends.
