Outside the Law was Epitaph's third studio album and it's clearly weaker than their previous two albums if you ask me. The album is a lot less progressive than it's predecessors and it's also way more commercial sounding I think. While the songs aren't bad none of them really blows my mind either. Most of these songs are pretty OK but there are also one or two a bit mediocre songs too.
Three stars is definitely the highest rating I can give to Outside of the Law. It's quite close to 2,5 stars if I'm honest. Not a very convincing effort I'm ufraid. Definitely not that bad either but this album isn't Epitaph at their best.
