EPMD Strictly Business “Spring Green" color vinyl. Reissue of EPMD's 1988 debut album. The set includes two LPs featuring classic tracks such as "You Gots to Chill" and "It's My Thing".  New, sealed in original factory-applied shrink wrap with no rips to wrap. EPMD released their first album, Strictly Business on June 7, 1988, through Fresh/Sleeping Bag Records and BCM Records. The album was recorded in under a month at Charles Marotta’s studio and became a blueprint of hip-hop's golden era. Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith revolutionized the hip-hop scene by incorporating their unique flow with iconic samples like Zapp's "More Bounce to the Ounce" and Kool & the Gang's "Jungle Boogie" and more. Strictly Business is the debut album by golden age hip-hop duo EPMD. Years after its release, Strictly Business has continued to attract critical success. In 2003, the album was ranked by Rolling Stone magazine's as one of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album is known for its lighthearted party raps and funky sample-reliant production.The Gold-certified album is now available on a Spring Green 2LP vinyl pressing, featuring singles “Yous Gots to Chill”, “It’s My Thing”, and “Strictly Business”.
