ERA OF SOUND-45-“Girl In The Mini Skirt” b/w “Stay With Me”-Delta Records # R-2255-ULTRAKILLERKOOL=MONSTER! 1966 Albuquerque, New Mexico 5-Star Garage / Punk-Most of you know this KILLER (appeared on ‘Psychedelic Unknowns’ series), if not I’ll go into detail: Great title, obviously, and the track lives up it-Arrows-ish (‘Blues Theme’ in particular) fuzz guitar driven throughout-starts out with a fuzz guitar crunch and takes off from there-great lyrics about being obsessed with a girl in a mini-skirt (Right-On!), great bridge, killer song-fantastic and ULTRAKILLER Fuzz lead guitar break preceded by a good Sonics-ish scream...(NOTE: This song was also covered by the Cramps)...B side is not of the intensity or caliber of the A side, but nonetheless a really cool, moody Garage-Teen Ballad...KILLERKOOL... Condition: Record is MINT-Minus on ‘Mini-Skirt’ side, B side is the same but has a very light surface scratch visible in certain light angles, also a VERY LIGHT slow warp-really not a warp at all, but have to be as descriptive as possible; will say this is really a beautiful copy overall...
